19months old...

Wow has it really been since march that i updated...opps....well here is what B has been up to!

he LOVES his gramps, thomas the train, trucks, cars, tractors, being outside, and swimming.

he HATES: cheese, bread and sleep.

he says: mommy/jenni; daddy/nic; nonnie, gramps/jim/jimmy; thomas; truck; waler(water); snack; eat; bye-bye; more; all done; love you; sorry; poop; pee-ewwww; eyes; ears; nose; hair; theeth; belly; pee-pee; all the daycare kids names....

sings: very useful engine; A B C's and the clean up song

identifies: eyes, ears, nose, hair, belly, theeth, pee pee, the letter B and the number 2

he currently wears size 18 month everything shorts, pants, shirts, jammies...weighs around 30 pounds and is around 35 inches tall....

this weekend we are going to see our friends in minnesota and we plan to visit the zoo and B is super excited!

Barrett 15 months...

Well let's see we have had our first big sickness...he had a lower eye lid infection...yeah only my kid...the dr. thought it was pink eye so he perscribed drops for barrett only they made his infection like 200 times worse and his eye was almost swollen shut! so we got some augmenten and by friday afternoon his eye was almost completely better after ONE dose!

Barrett's words:
Mamma, Dadda, Remi, More (says and signs,) All done (says and signs,) Eat (says and signs,) Nonnie, Gramps, Grandpa, Aubree, Grady, Shannon, Kyler, Yes, No, Choo Choo...there are more but it is excaping me right now...

He will tell you what a cow, pig, dog, cat, and train say....

He is RUNNING every where and climbing or at least trying to climb everything!

He still wears most 12m clothes just starting to wear 18m clothes...Not sure height but weighed 29lbs with shoes and coat on at the dr. on thursday...

Trying to use utensals to eat...can feed him self if you put it on the spoon or fork he just need help getting it there...he drink small amounts of liquid out of a cup with NO lid without spilling...prefers a cup with straw over a sippy cup...

Will only sleep half the night in his own bed...we are working on this...

This spring and summer will be fun with him he LOVES being outside!!!!

Oh wow...

Ok perhaps I have neglected blogging...Opps...As we speak Barrett is bossing the daycare kids to sleep...Not like he should be napping or anything himself. He naps for like an hour or an hour and a half and that is all. But he does sleep like 13 hours at night, now if all those 13hrs were in his own bed...

He is talking all the time and has quite the long list of words...His newest are Ash, Aubree, Grady, and Apple! he also signs All Done, More, eat, and banana!

I can't believe he is 14 months already. This weekend we are going to Wasserbann and indoor waterpark with our cousins and my parents! I can't wait to see what barrett thinks of this! He loves the water so this should be fun! We are also going to do some spring/summer clothes shopping for Barrett!!!!

It was this day that we had our last ultrasound to find out just how big our little bug was! I had been having weekly nonstress tests for about a month at this point...non of wich were fun! At this point I was about 39wks, measuring around 42-43wks...Not good i guess...So an ultrasound was in order...I also had preclapsia with lots of swelling and high bloodpressure (that is why so many nonstress tests) nothing was every wrong with Barrett's heartrate and his movements were always good so he just stayed inside while i was misarable all over! I was on partial bedrest for a month!

Ok back to the day...Dr.Richmond sent me to MHP to have an ultrasound to measure Barrett and he was measuring at a estimated weight of 8lbs 12oz...give or take 1.5lbs...yeah that is right he could weigh 11lbs!!!!!!!!!!!! He was also postiriur (or face up) which isn't good...So Dr.Richmond was going to call me that afternoon I heard NOTHING....So at 4:30pm I called him...he knew NOTHING....Great...So by noon on Friday i heard NOTHING....so i called again...He knew NOTHING! are you for real!?!? So he said he would make arragments to meet with the radiologist as soon as he could either friday afternoon or Monday morning and call me ASAP as he knew something...GREAT! I wanted to know NOTHING all weekend that was my dream come true...How did he know?!? SOOOOOOOO I waited all weekend wondering and waiting for monday! Little did I know that my fait had already been decided by two awesome Doctors. My doctor Richmond and my surgeon DR.Breon...They had a little meeting about me over the phone on Saturday...Dr.Richmond called me bright and early Monday morning 7:30am on Dec.7th....he told me I had an hour to get to his office...It had snowed the night before so nic was out plowing snow, and i had daycare kids arriving...Next best thing to nic is my dad...so i called him and he came over to watch my daycare kids while i went to find out what the deal was...Got the the doctors office and my bp was 175/120...yeah that is soooooooooo not good.....guess who was the lucky winner of another non stress test??? ME ME ME!!!! Also it was decided that I would be having a csection either that day or frist thing Dec.8th...Well by the time i left for the hospital for the non stress I had informed all my daycare parents that I was now done with daycare until January...YEAH me...Had the non stress relaxed enough to get my bp down to 145/100 so they let me go home!!!!

We got up bright and early to go have a csection on Tuesday December 8, 2009...

Barrett James (NO HE WILL NOT BE CALLED B.J.!) was born at 8:56am via csection weighing 9lbs 12oz and 20in long!
