Take me away...

In my line of work people always say they could NEVER do it...Well today is a day I don't want to do it...We all have "those" kinds of days...It is days like these that make me miss J. He is in Kindergarten now but when the kids were bad and I was having a bad day he would always say "Jenni, do you need a Captin and Coke?" Or other silly things that would just make my day a little bit better...Well today will be over in 4 hours...and tomorrow is Friday!!!!!!!!

A week old.....

Introducing for the first time on my blog....Carter Patrick Smith...

He is eatting like a champ....Nic and I went up last sunday 2-1...and were planning on going up today but i have had a cold most of the week and didn't want to get the little guy or his parents sick...

My Husband Rocks- Giggles-n-Thrills!

Things we do to have fun together...We love to go golfing, Ride the 4wheeler, Go shopping (yes nic likes to shop), Watch movies, play board game or cards, play the Wii, go on walks, Tavel!!!

A story or time that makes me laugh when I think about it...When Nic broke his leg July 13.06 9 months before our wedding...He woke up from surgery saying how sorry he was that he might set off the metal detector at the airport now that he has a metal rod in is leg...What a nut...Hi you just BROKE your LEG....Lets be thankful that when you wrecked your dirt bike you didn't DIE...Not that you may set off the metal detector...Another time would probably be on our honeymoon when we were snorkling looking for these "huge" fish..Which I couldn't find/see...Well Nic had spotted them and i was stuggling to find them...so i look in front of me instead of looking down at the sea floor...well CRAP...HUGE FISH LIKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME...Never have I swam so fast in my life...i was FREAKED out...that fish was seriously like right in front of me had i been brave enough i probably could have touched it...

Lastly a creative Valentines gift...That is a hard one...I always try to be creative but it doesn't always work...One time decopaged (sp) Nic a heart shaped box...Not sure where it is now...but he keeps special stuff from me and things we do together in it...Another time I wrote down on a seaperate peice of colored paper why I loved him...At the time there were like 75 things...Now there could be Thousands....Glad I did that then...This year I am making him his favorite dinner...Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuts with Texas Road house butter, and homemade apple pie with ice cream...I will also make him some sugar cookeies and probably sinkerdoodle cookies too...

Happy Friday!!!!!

Change...

Today is the beginning of a new era...I guess...I am waiting for change...As long as the change doesn't cost me anymore money I am all for it...As long as the change is better for our country and doesn't bring us down more I am all for that too...As long as the change brings our soilders home peacefully I am all for that...But If this change ends up costing our country more money we dont have I will be very unhappy...We are already having economic problems...lets not add to the doom and gloom on every evening new channel..Which ALSO makes me mad...if we want people to be up beat and happy lets not scare the crap out of them on the evening news...

I feel we as amerincans need to be less money concerned and focus on how to save more and spend less. We have been living lives way out of our means...We need to be better stewards of our money...What is really important here???

We need to look back in time and see what was important when our parents were growing up...As I recall it was all centered around FAMILY!!! They didn't need and rarely had to have expensive, extravigant things...As this new era starts we here at the Lynch house are looking forward to the Change...maybe it will be for the better...which is what i am praying for...but i know at our home alot has changed already...

Here's to you Presidet Obama! I will pray everyday for the safety for you and your family! May God guide you to do the best for our country...Keeping in mind your childrens future with every choice you make...

MHR Friday

Wife tip- Making him his favorite cookies just because you want to! Suprise him by buying his favorite treat when you are at the store!

Something that Nic did during this last week was just being strong for me. We just lost our first baby one week and one day ago. Without nic getting through this would not be possible. he has been such a strong rock for me to lean on and cry to. I couldn't have created a better husband...And I love him for being the rock of our family....
